Emerging from the heart of Upland, California, The Project unleashes its powerhouse single “Death of Me”, a track that bridges hard rock intensity with a radio-ready melodic edge. Spearheaded by James Davis, the former lead guitarist of award-winning band Shameless, this all-star supergroup is crafting a new legacy one riff at a time.

Produced by Dennis Hill (Face to Face, Sammy Hagar, Lit) and featuring blistering contributions from Arron Rossi (Ministry, Prong), Erik Ferentinos (Stephen Pearcy/Ratt), and more, “Death of Me” is both a throwback to early 2000s hard rock and a bold step forward. Anchored by Jeff Plant’s searing vocals and Davis’s signature guitar fire, the song dives headfirst into inner turmoil, resilience, and transformation themes.
