The story of Red & Blue began in a snowstorm. Mudhr found himself stuck on a highway, surrounded by immobilized cars and makeshift roadside camps. Months later, when it came time to record, Mudhr recreated that sense of intimacy. His recording setup was modest a small, dark space with just a mic, a MacBook, and his UAD interface. The isolation of the room amplified his focus, bringing every lyric and note to life with raw honesty. This stripped-down approach captures the heart of Red & Blue, making it feel less like a polished studio production and more like a direct conversation with the listener.
Mudhr’s collaboration with producer Zshan proved pivotal. Known for his intricate and atmospheric soundscapes, Zshan added depth to the track, transforming it into an immersive experience.
